Giorgiana Pallamara (Calabria, 1995) is a digital artist based in Milan. Graduated with a 1:1 in Photography at the UCA (University for the Creative Arts) in Rochester, Kent (2018), she has now moved back to Italy after 5 years in England.
Born as a conceptual photographer, her means of creation have developed through various creative media, involving especially the direction, composition and post production of images.
Creating from her personal experience and perspective of things, her work unravels through stories of introspection and abstract concepts with a new message to be told, thanks to the manipulation and digital composition of images. Her homeland, Calabria, is a great component and inspiration in her work, with its landscapes, sea and everything this territory can signify from an emotional point of view.
The aesthetic is an important element of her images; at the same time, it becomes a performative and instructive tool.
